GGTI Wins 5-year, $9.5 Million ATO Safety Management System Support Contract
Washington, DC – GGTI, Inc., a leading provider of safety, engineering and policy support to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), was recently awarded a $9.5-million, five-year contract by the FAA to provide Program Support to the Air Traffic Organization’s (ATO) Safety and Technical Training (AJI) Office. Under this contract, GGTI will provide Integrated Safety Policy, Safety Management System (SMS) Training, Intervention and Mitigation Monitoring, and Safety Engineering expertise to support the maintenance and improvement of the ATO’s SMS.
Track Record of Success
Since 1997, GGTI has provided safety, engineering, and policy support to the FAA. GGTI Headquarters is located in New Jersey in close proximity to the William J. Hughes Technical Center (WJHTC), where GGTI supports and performs hands-on operational testing work for the FAA ATO Office of Independent Safety Assessment. GGTI has additional office space in Alexandria, VA, in close proximity to the FAA’s Headquarters in Washington D.C. from which GGTI provides support for the FAA ATO’s SMS Office. In supporting the FAA ATO’s SMS, GGTI develops policy, conducts safety risk management, and reviews technical safety documentation associated with Next Generation Air Transportation System (NextGen) acquisition systems and Air Traffic Management operations and procedures.
