GGTI has been certified as a participant in the SBA’s 8a Business Development Program.
Washington DC – GGTI, Inc., a leading provider of safety, engineering and policy support to Federal government and private industry, has recently been certified by the SBA as a participant in the U.S. SBA’s 8(a) Business Development Program. The 8(a) Program, which offers a broad scope of assistance to firms that are owned and controlled at least 51% by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, will enable GGTI to both compete for 8(a) set-aside contracts and receive sole-source contracts, up to a ceiling of $4 million for goods and services and $6.5 million for manufacturing.
Since 1997, GGTI has provided safety, engineering, and policy support to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). GGTI Headquarters is located in New Jersey in close proximity to the William J. Hughes Technical Center (WJHTC), where GGTI supports and performs hands-on operational testing work for the FAA ATO Office of Independent Safety Assessment. In supporting the FAA Air Traffic Organization Safety Management System, GGTI develops policy, conducts safety risk management, and reviews technical safety documentation associated with Next Generation Air Transportation System (NextGen) acquisition systems and Air Traffic Management operations and procedures.
