Luis Guzman
President
Luis establishes and directs the strategic vision for GGTI and manages the company’s budget and finances. He sets the tone not only for the exceptional work GGTI provides our customers but also for the company culture. Luis has more than 34 years of experience supporting the FAA. Luis has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Systems & Information Systems.
His career started in 1990, working for a minority owned business. He progressed from conducting Airport Runway capacity simulations to programming the antiquated Air Traffic Control (ATC) systems (ARTS-IIA & ARTS-IIIA). In 1995 he joined the Independent Operational Test & Evaluation (IOT&E) organization, where he networked and proceeded to grow GGTI into the company that it is now. Today GGTI still provides the same contractual support to the Policy and Performance directorate. Over the years Luis has overseen and led the growth of the company both in terms of the number of employees and contracts.
A computer scientist by trade, in his personal time he’s most likely to be found on one of the South Jersey golf links or preparing a gourmet meal for his family. Luis grew up an Army brat, and during his youth, his family was stationed in Madrid, Spain and Mannheim, Germany. During those 10 years, his family traveled throughout Europe. This is where his passion for good wine and food started. One of his favorite quotes from a retired FAA customer and mentor is “Life is too short to drink bad wine.”
