Ozzy Valdivieso

Director of Operations

Ozzy provides leadership for GGTI’s Policy and Performance task order and business development services for GGTI. He has more than 27 years of experience supporting the FAA. Ozzy has a Bachelor of Science in Applied Physics and a minor in Mathematics. He also holds a Project Management Professional certificate.

After college, Ozzy began supporting the FAA with software development. From software development he moved to system testing and evaluation. At this time, he was preparing and testing systems – gearing up for the unknown of Y2K! After system test and evaluation, Ozzy moved to a position where he performed Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V). From IV&V, he moved to a position involved in Airport Safety Research & Development (R&D) of airport lights, signs, and markings. For Ozzy, his time in R&D was a period of fun, new learning experiences from flying planes in remote and local areas to learning how to drive various types of vehicles like forklifts, utility vehicles, a dump truck (with which he pulled a mobile home), and a tug vehicle (with which he towed a 727)!

Ultimately, Ozzy’s experience with system test and evaluation was the most influential to his career. At that time, he learned about an FAA organization conducting Independent Operational Tests and Evaluations. He made it his goal to belong to this organization, and seven years later, Ozzy started a steady rise in the organization by working hard and taking initiative. Ozzy enjoys working at GGTI because of the people, who are open and friendly. GGTI has created an environment where people work hard, support each other, and have created lifelong friendships. It all starts at the top with Luis.
